LOCATION:  ALPHARETTA OFFICE

JOB TITLE:  Fiduciary Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Perform monthly general ledger close processes and reconciliations for two insurance subsidiaries
  • ACH Check deposits for two insurance subsidiaries
  • Allocate cash receipts within Accounts Receivable operating system
  • Accounts Payable processing for two insurance subsidiaries
  • Liaise with insurance agents regarding billing specific inquiries

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • General knowledge of best in class accounting processes
  • Challenge the status quo
  • Insurance industry experience a plus
  • Experience with insurance accounting a plus
  • Proficient in excel

 

 LOCATION:  COLORADO OFFICE

 JOB TITLE:  Underwriter – P & C

 JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Negotiating writing new business accounts and maintaining renewal business with production goals.
  • Marketing and building relationships with agents to build a book of business.
  • Develop and maintain connections with the carrier underwriters to assist in the negotiation of accounts.
  • Understand underwriting guidelines and methods established by our carriers.
  • Advanced  knowledge of the Property and Casualty market, coverages, underwriters, etc.  Some travel may be required.

 SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Computer skills to include Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet critical deadlines, and work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Places emphasis on time management.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to establish working relationships with customers, carriers and underwriting team.

 JOB TITLE:  Branch Manager

 JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Building and managing a new branch office. Reporting into Alpharetta home office.
  • Marketing and building relationships with a staff  to build a book of business.
  • Develop and maintain connections with the carrier underwriters to assist in the negotiation of accounts.
  • Understand underwriting guidelines and methods established by our carriers.
  • Negotiating & writing new business accounts and maintaining future renewal business with production goals.

  • Leadership and Supervisory skills
  • Computer skills to include Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to multi-task, meet critical deadlines, and work well in a fast-paced environment.

LOCATION:  ALPHARETTA OFFICE

 JOB TITLE: Marketing Representative – Alabama & Mississippi Territory

 JOB DESCRIPTION:

 Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Identify new agency partners and develop and maintain the business relationships with those partners
  • Attend independent agency functions and conventions throughout the state
  • Collaborate with underwriting staff to promote Genesee to contracted and prospective agencies.
  • The ability to meet an expected number of agency calls
  • Maintain a solid working knowledge of the underwriting process and carrier underwriting appetites.
  • Extensive travel is required.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Excellent verbal, written, multi-tasking, and communication skills
  • Self Disciplined
  • Critical thinking and good judgement to quickly determine and prioritize key issues
  • Meeting Facilitation Skills: Ability to professionally conduct large group meetings.

 

LOCATION:  ALPHARETTA, GA

JOB TITLE:  Financing Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Provide customer support to finance companies via email and phone
  • Update Insured files in management systems with notices of financing/finance agreement information
  • Process finance company cancellation and reinstatement notices
  • Manage/Order office supplies and breakroom supplies
  • Oversee/schedule paper shredding
  • Backup the front desk (answer phones/re-direct calls, greet visitors) daily for 2 hours and on an as needed basis

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Strong customer service skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  • 2-3 years Administrative/Office Assistant experience preferred
